About the DC LCC

The Washington DC Metro Louisiana College Coalition is organized by the Centenary, Grambling, Louisiana State University, Louisiana Tech, Loyola University, McNeese State University, Southeastern State University, Northwestern State University, Tulane University, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, University of Louisiana at Monroe, and University of New Orleans alumni chapters of Washington, DC.

Over 10,000 pounds of crawfish will be catered from Louisiana for the annual event. The 1,500 expected guests will receive hot Louisiana crawfish, sausage, jambalaya, beer (21 years or older), cokes, dessert, and live Cajun/Zydeco music. The event is open only to DCLCC alumni members and guests (Centenary, Grambling, LSU, La Tech, Loyola, McNeese, NSU, SLU, Tulane, ULL, ULM, UNO). The alum tickets are cross checked through alumni offices. For members and guests who do not wish to partake in the crawfish and drinks, feel free to bring a picnic lunch in and enjoy our Louisiana culture.

If your Louisiana university alumni chapter wants to join the DC LCC and participate in area events, please contact your schools Alumni Association and have them contact Tommy Walpole of ULM for DC LCC for membership.
